The Dig Tree
The Dig Tree is one of Australia’s national icons. It’s where William Brahe and his men buried supplies for Burke and Wills in 1861 and engraved the word “DIG”. This lonely coolibah still stands to this day on the banks of Coopers Creek.
Mungo Man
Explore Mungo National Park where the remains of ‘Mungo Man’, the earliest known human to inhabit the Australian continent, were found. The park was World Heritage Listed in 1981 in recognition of this rich Aboriginal heritage.
