The Ghan Expedition
One of the world’s revered rail expeditions, The Ghan from Darwin to Adelaide is an experience like no other. Over four incredible days, wind your way from north to south, and discover the true awe and meaning of the Australian outback. Blazing red deserts, wide-open skies, and a kaleidoscope for all the senses, you’ll witness some of the most remote and captivating corners of this country.
Operating March through November, explore Katherine and Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, as well as a signature dining experience beneath the stars at the historic Telegraph Station. In South Australia, glimpse Manguri and uncover Coober Pedy, the opal capital of the world, before reaching your final destination of Adelaide.
