Unique Safari Camps & Lodges

If you’re travelling with Outback Spirit in the Kimberley, you’re staying in the region’s very best safari camps and wilderness lodges. Enjoy the romance of sleeping under canvas yet enjoy all the creature comforts, such as ensuite bathrooms and 240v power. On the Mitchell Plateau, our very own Ngauwudu Safari Camp features stunning tented safari suites scattered amongst the Livistona palms, just a stone’s throw from our private palm fringed swimming hole. For more information about Outback Spirit’s camps and lodges, please refer to the menu bar at the top of the page.

Unsurpassed Access to the Kimberley

Thanks to our network of lodges and local partnerships, you’ll visit areas in the Kimberley that most other tour operators simply can’t take you. Strategically located, these accommodation bases make it possible to explore the Kimberley’s most stunning natural attractions including the Mitchell Plateau, Bungle Bungles and Mornington Wildlife Sanctuary. So, if you want to get off the beaten track and experience the real Kimberley, an Outback Spirit Kimberley tour is for you.

Supporting Conservation

Outback Spirit is a proud financial supporter of Australian Wildlife Conservancy, Australia’s pre-eminent not-for-profit conservation group. With over 2.5 million acres across four sanctuaries, AWC is on the frontline of wildlife conservation in the Kimberley with ground-breaking research and on-ground management. Sadly, much of the Kimberley’s unique wildlife is under threat from extinction, and without groups like AWC the future for these precious species is very bleak. Since 2008, Outback Spirit has donated over $1 million to AWC, 90% of which is spent in the field, not on administration.
